Harvest Hosts Route Planner Makes Summer RV Road Trippin' Even More Fun!

Salmon Bay Farm - Scallop Aquaculture

The Harvest Hosts route planner has been a great addition to our app tool kit for finding quiet and safe overnight stays along our journey through northeastern Canada this summer...and, you can now integrate with RV LIFE Trip Wizard app!  With our link and code CANLIFE20first-year members can get 20% off.

From suburban hydroponic farms to remote island gardens to scallop aquaculture at the end of the road in Quebec, we've stayed overnight at a wide range of fun and fascinating places around the Maritimes and Atlantic Provinces of Canada.  Since we use solar power at these Host locations, we don't need electrical hook-ups and don't bother anyone with the incessant noise of a gas generator.

Every single host has been incredibly welcoming -- giving us personal tours and encouraging us to make ourselves at home and enjoy their property!

The Harvest Hosts plan that is best for YOU depends on where and how often you travel, where you like to stay the night, and what you enjoy doing while traveling.

Explore which membership option is best for you...and join soon to get the very best deal!  We've heard that prices may increase later this year...

Option #1 (Least Expensive)

With your annual Harvest Hosts Classic Membership, you get to stay 1 night at any property for free (some hosts offer extra nights for a small fee), then you purchase something from their business (around $30 is requested).  There is absolutely no limit on the number of times you can use your membership -- you can use it every single night of the year at different businesses across North America!  Some hosts even offer electrical hook-ups and water, or better yet, use your solar powered system to produce our own electricity.

We often choose to stay at farms and wineries/breweries/distilleries along our route in order to purchase eggs, produce, honey, berries, cheeses, and loafs of bread, as well as enjoy some wine, beer, and spirits.  These are items we'd purchase at a grocery or liquor store anyway, so supporting small, family-owned businesses is even better!  Since these places are often off-the-beaten track, we end up visiting unique parts of the continent we wouldn't have otherwise explored, meet some awesome people, and enjoy some pretty tasty products.  Occasionally, we choose restaurants or event venues for a fun night out and a place to stay the night in a city!

Option #2 (Additional Options)

The Harvest Hosts + Boondockers Welcome Membership* is another great option!  In addition to thousands of Harvest Hosts locations,  Boondockers Welcome are fellow travelers who welcome RVers to park on their private land (often up to 3-5 nights).  These parking spots are in driveways, on their property, farm, etc...and are completely FREE with your annual membership, no purchases required!

As locals, both Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome Hosts are loaded with knowledge of the area -- often helping us find places to hike, kayak, cycle...or just simply something beautiful to see along the way.  Overall, it's a WIN WIN!

Option #3 (All Inclusive)

Finally, the Harvest Hosts All Access Membership* is for folks who want access to both of the above + the Escapees RV Club membership (highly recommend for full-timers or even part-timers who are frequently on the road) + access to staying at golf courses along your route, which of course is absolutely perfect for those RVers who enjoy hitting the links.

*As a special perk for both combo memberships, you get special discounts with campground partners and RV related products, services, and accessories!

We've thoroughly enjoyed our Harvest Hosts membership since 2021!  Learn more about how their updated app works in this video.
